I am a UK registered Nutritional Therapist.
I received my degree in Nutritional Medicine at University of West London. I believe that nutrition and lifestyle are our most powerful tools that determine our wellbeing and enable us to enjoy vibrant, active, productive and happy lives.
I am dedicated to encouraging and empowering you to reach your goals and take control of your
own health.
I use food as medicine and I promote whole-food and nutrient rich diets. My aim is to give you practical tools and ideas to make achievable,
long-lasting dietary and lifestyle changes based on your own individual needs to improve your health outcome.
My approach
As a Nutritional Therapist I recognize that everyone has a unique biochemistry based on many factors such as genetics, diet, environmental exposure to chemicals and heavy metals, lifestyle, and psychological as well as physical stress that may cause nutritional and biochemical imbalances within the inter-connected systems in our body.
With this in mind, I take a personalised approach that is centred around finding the root cause of your symptoms and what may be the triggers behind your health condition.
I focus on identifying potential nutritional and biochemical imbalances to improve physiological function of a number of bodily systems, including the digestive, immune and endocrine systems so that your health can be restored.
I work closely with each client listening carefully to their story. This is important as many people feel they are never properly ‘heard’. I respect client's
individual personal preferences, needs, values, and rights to be involved in decision making about their care to provide effective results. I provide support all the way, making it as easy as possible for you to put into practice the changes you need.
I may recommend functional tests and dietary supplements when necessary to achieve desired clinical results.
I do not recommend nutritional therapy as a replacement for medical advice and I always refer any client with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms to their medical professional.
I further develop my professional capabilities by regularly attending conferences, seminars and subscribe to medical journals to keep up-to-date with the latest and ever evolving research in nutritional science.
I look forward to helping you achieve your health goals!
I am fully insured and I am a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT), and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which require the highest standards of integrity, knowledge, competence and professionalism in the practice of Nutritional Therapy.
